What you need to prepare

Passport

  • Valid for minimum 6 months
  • At least 2 blank pages
  • ECR category for GCC

Educational Certificates

  • 10th/12th mark sheets & certificates
  • ITI/Diploma/Degree
  • Technical/skill certificates
  • MEA/Embassy attestation

Experience Documents

  • Experience/Service letters

Photographs

  • Passport size (white background)

Medical Certificate

  • GAMCA medical (for GCC)
  • Approved center fitness
  • Blood test, X-ray, physical
  • Valid for 3 months

Police Clearance Certificate

  • PCC from PSK or local police
  • Valid for 6 months
  • Required for attestation

Medical Examination & Clearances

GAMCA Medical (GCC)

GCC Approved Medical Centers Association (GAMCA) conducts mandatory medical examinations for workers going to GCC countries.

Tests Included

  • Blood tests (HIV, Hep B/C, Blood Group, Sugar)
  • Chest X-ray (TB screening)
  • Physical examination and urine test
  • Vision test

Process

  • Registration on GAMCA portal and appointment
  • Cost approx. ₹2,000–3,000
  • Results in 2–3 days; valid 3 months

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

How to Obtain

  • Apply at Passport Seva Kendra (recommended) or local police station

Required Documents

  • Passport, address proof, photos, and application form

Processing Time & Cost

  • PSK: 7–10 days (₹500); Police Station: 2–3 weeks
  • Validity: 6 months

ICWF (Indian Community Welfare Fund)

A welfare fund managed by Indian embassies abroad to assist Indian workers in distress.

  • Mandatory contribution (GCC) and one-time payment before visa stamping
  • Covers emergency repatriation, legal aid, and medical assistance
  • We handle ICWF registration and payment
